Financing Options
Main Street Homes works with MSH Mortgage to offer a wide variety of financing options to our customers. We continuously monitor the different loan options that are underwritten by state and county agencies. When a new loan program becomes available, we make sure to make our buyers aware of it, and many people take advantage of the lower-cost alternatives to conventional financing. Some of our financing options include:

Mortgage Loan Process
- Select your community and floorplan
- Fill out the Main Street Loan Application with a sales counselor or apply online.
- You will be assigned an appointment with a mortgage counselor.
- Bring all the necessary information with you to your first mortgage meeting.
- Your loan officer will review your application and make a decision.
- When approved, construction begins on your home. The final step will be to close on your home.
What to Bring to Your Mortgage Meeting
After signing a contract with the community sales consultant, you will schedule a meeting with your mortgage counselor. In order to simplify the loan application process, please bring the following things to this meeting:
- The sales contract you have completed with your sales consultant
- A personal check for the application fee
- Driver’s license
- Social security card
- Residence addresses for past two years, with landlord addresses
- Two months of current pay stubs for all family income
- Three months of bank statements, retirement accounts, investments, etc.
- Your W-2 statements (the statement of your final salary total, which your employer sends you at the end of each
- year) for the past two years
- The past three years’ tax returns, or, if you are self-employed, two years of corporate returns
- VA certificate of eligibility, if applicable
- Copy of divorce or separations papers and property settlement, if applicable
- Child support order, if applicable
- Bankruptcy documents (all pages), if applicable
